We made it another year! This year—better than ever.

What I love about this journey with the organization is that you can clearly see the evolution of ourselves, our platform, and our mission.

Last year (2025) we hit the ground with our first NAMI walk, and we came prepared to share love, compassion, and hugs—and to hand out as many red envelopes as we could.
We shared our mission and our vision with the community and it was wonderful.
Since then, we decided to change our structure and ensure our core mission is aligned with who we are and what our community is in need.
And we did that and will continue to do so every year.

This year we launched our Certified Nuisance merch line and the PHInc. Collection. We know humanity is worth our effort and we know we have to be a little louder about it. We can start by representing the mission.
We’ve also created systems and workshops to bring to the community in the coming year that will change the way you think.
We have launched a fundraising campaign with Krispy Kreme to help us reach our goals as an organization, and it was beautiful to share the sweetness of life with humans. - Get your dozen today through our code!

We have done so much in this wonderful year by showing up for ourselves and the community around us. Opportunity is where you show up.
Here’s what I came away with this year:
Humans are in desperate need of a hug. I love hugs, and the number of hugs given out was so gratifying. The human touch bridges a gap within a being that we didn’t even know we needed or had.
Some humans have never heard, “You are worth the effort.” My reaction to that was sadness—and at the same time, I felt the beautiful opportunity to share that effort with them. The effort of a conversation.
AGE has no place in mental health. ALL humans—of every shape, size, age, and background—are impacted by mental health.
I met humans who lost loved ones and needed a hug.
I met humans in their later years, regaining their lives from addiction.
I met humans who served in our military during my war in Bosnia—humans who were right there, saving my life.
I met humans who are just starting their lives, trying to navigate the beginning with passion, love, and courage.

Each conversation fuels, fills, and creates a spark within me—and hopefully within all the humans I spoke to, and within you—to see your worth and value, and to decide to put the effort in.
I encourage you to pause in your conversations and listen. Sometimes our job is not to speak, but to hold the space to be seen and heard.
I thank GOD for every human who has come to me and into my space to be seen, heard, held, and loved. I hope you found a moment of peace and solace in that space—to see yourself and the worth you hold.
Thank you all for your support! Check out our events page and show up to see what opportunities present themselves for growth, love and change.
Until next time... I love you, AH.
