About Project Human Inc.
Project Human Inc. is a Jacksonville-based nonprofit building a human-first ecosystem for mental and emotional health through conversation, education, creative expression, storytelling, advocacy, and community connection.
We believe mental and emotional well-being begins with the human experience — the stories people carry, the language they are missing, the support they need, and the spaces they are given to feel seen, heard, informed, and less alone.
PHInc. is not a clinical organization. We are a community-based, peer-to-peer movement focused on bridging the gap between awareness and access, conversation and action, creativity and healing, people and resources.
What We Do
Project Human Inc. creates spaces, tools, conversations, and creative experiences that help individuals and communities better understand mental and emotional health in real-life, approachable ways.
Our work brings together education, storytelling, art, media, events, and community engagement to make hard conversations more human, less isolating, and easier to begin.
We focus on helping people build language, self-awareness, connection, confidence, and next steps.
The Human-First Ecosystem
PHInc. is built as an ecosystem, not a single program.
Each part of our work connects back to one mission: helping humans better understand themselves, each other, and the stories they are still becoming.
Our ecosystem includes:
-
Monthly Community Conversations — open, peer-to-peer spaces for honest dialogue around mental and emotional health.
-
Quarterly Mental Health Days — community-centered events that combine education, conversation, resources, and connection.
-
The Artist Within Podcast — human-first conversations that explore resilience, identity, healing, creativity, and lived experience.
-
Define the Narrative Documentary — a multi-year storytelling project highlighting real human experiences and the power of reclaiming our stories.
-
Creative Project Initiative — art, film, fashion, photography, writing, and creative expression used as tools for awareness, reflection, and connection.
-
Community Events & Partnerships — collaborative experiences that bring people, organizations, artists, advocates, and resources together.
Our Approach
Our approach is human-first, educational, creative, and community-centered.
We believe every person is more than a diagnosis, title, trauma, role, or circumstance. We create spaces where people can be met as humans first — with dignity, honesty, compassion, and practical support.
We do this through conversation, storytelling, advocacy, education, creative engagement, and resource connection.
We are here to help close the gap between what people are going through and the support, language, and community they need to keep moving forward.
Why It Matters
Many people are struggling silently, not because they do not care about their mental and emotional health, but because they do not know where to begin, how to explain what they are carrying, or where they will be met without judgment.
Project Human Inc. exists to help make those starting points more accessible.
We believe conversation can become a bridge.
Creative expression can become language.
Community can become support.
And human connection can become the first step toward healing, awareness, and change.
Human First. Community Connected. Purpose Driven.
Project Human Inc. is building spaces where people feel seen, heard, informed, and less alone — one conversation, one story, one creative experience, and one human connection at a time.
Project Human Inc. provides peer-to-peer advocacy, education, and informational support. We are not medical, clinical, or emergency professionals. If you or someone you know is in immediate crisis, call 911 or 988.
